Libby Hold Limit Change – May 15, 2025

Due to federal funding cuts (IMLS), the maximum number of holds in Libby will drop from 30 to 20. This is a state consortia decision—not made by our library.

If you have more than 20 holds now, you’ll keep them, but won’t be able to add more until you're under the limit.
